Hi Linna,

I have a suggestion....(why didn't I think of this before??)... OK, there are better things to eat; however, until your schedule changes to allow you to eat a little better (make your own healthier meals), you might want to consider meal replacement bars. If you are not into low carb, higher protein, there are The Zone bars which are really good, which consist of 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein...I believe. There is also the Balance bar. If you are into the lower carb, higher protein, you should look for some higher protein bars (and other products, such as shakes). I actually buy protein bars that are around 154 cals., 15 g. carbs. (I think...no more than for sure), 5 g. fat and 15 g. protein. I buy them through my doctor, however. They are quite good.

If you are interested, I recommend buying 1 of each flavour to try out, and then perhaps buy them in bulk to save money.

I really like these meal replacement bars. They are great to carry in my purse as a snack (to avoid PitStops at Wendy's, my favourite, and the like). As well, you don't have to prepare anything....they're available as soon as you are hungry. I think they are good for a temporary solution, and obviously real food has got to be the best for us. Oh, I am not suggesting replace all of your meals. You should eat real food too.

If you're in Canada, and you are interested in seeing a doctor for weightloss, visit this link to find a doctor in your area that specializes in a common sense way to lose weight (no quacks or gimmicks). https://www.mla.ca/en/framewelcome.html

They teach you how to eat properly, change behaviour and encourage physical activity. Your health care provider may cover the cost -- mine did!
