I'd go check in with your doctor about this one. Feeling off balance or dizzy might be an indication of an ear infection, or any number of things...that could effect both your balance and your nausea factor. If it has been going on for a while, and not cleared up, it might be time to get help :)

I apologize to everyone that I have not yet answered on e-mail (Christine, Carol, & UW Team...I'll get back with you ASAP...sorry). I had to go out of town for a week on a family emergency. I've been back for several days now, but I've been feeling so crappy that I haven't been up to doing much.

I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on. For several days now I've been nauseous on and off all day long, felt light-headed/off-balance, bloated feeling, completely exhausted (even more than usual), sore and achy. At first I thought maybe it was from eating too many carbs the last day I was out of town...but that was only one day..and it wasn't THAT overboard that I should still be sick almost a week later. Then I wondered if maybe I was getting a stomach virus that's been going around work...but I haven't had the diahrrea and fever like everyone else who's had it.....I've been nauseous and have gotten sick several times, but no one else that I've talked to with the virus has been sick like that. I don't think it's from the Glucophage XR that I'm taking...because I haven't had any bad side effects since the first few days I started taking it, and I haven't changed dosages or anything. UUUUgggghhh...it's driving me crazy. ! It almost feels like when you have a really bad migrane (except without the headache this time), and you get so nauseous that almost anything sets you off...and you feel like the floor is moving, or like you're walking leaning sideways or something, because you feel so loopy headed. Of course, being me, I've put off calling my doc because I thought it would go away soon, and now it's Saturday, almost Sunday...so it will be at least Monday before I get to talk to him again. I'm afraid to take anything like Pepto or even TUMS, etc...because I'm afraid of interactions with the meds I'm taking. *sigh* Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Any safe home remedies that might help until Monday?

Thanks, Jessy MyHealthMyLife@aol.com
