Hi Linna! I really understand your confusion! Right now I try like you to figure out what to eat and what kind of exercise I can do to improve my insulin levels. I have PCOS like you.

It’s possible to eat fruits and vegetables, but you have to look into the The Glycemic Index, and also restricting your intake. You will have to eat fruits with a low GI. It’s the same situation with vegetables.

Check out these sites: (I search on goggle: “GI” “Glucose”) http://www.diabetesnet.com/gi.html http://www.gifoundation.com/GI Concept.htm

To compensate for the limited intake of fruits, I’m taking a whole food supplement called Juice Plus+. (This product doesn’t contain the fructose). You can e-mail me if you want further information on that. Charlotte@lomholt.com

I had the book “The Schwarzbein Principle” recommended and I’m reading it right now. This book recommends balanced nutrition (protein/carbohydrates) as the solution. Personally I don’t like “diets” but believes in more long-term nutritional changes, but everyone has to figure out their own way to a better health.

Hope you will find your way!

Best luck from Charlotte
