My *personal* favorite is the Schwarzbein Principal, but really it's all a matter of finding a moderate or low carb, well balanced diet that fits you best. The reduced carbs help to lower our insulin levels. Diets range from the very strict (like Atkins) through moderate (Sugarbusters, Carbohydrate Addicts, the Zone) to very loose, like just cutting back on refined sugar.
