Reply: Dana: "Re: The glucophage isn't working!" My doctor diagnosed me with PCOS almost 5 years ago. She put me on glucophage as soon as she knew what I had. I lost almost 60 pounds and felt wonderful. I married and my husband is in the army. Every army doctor that I saw told me I should stop taking glucophage because it didn't makes since with what I had. I should have listen to the first doctor but I didn't and stop taking it because I figured that the doctors knew more than me. I have finially come to the conclusion(after almost a year and 6 doctors) that I should have stayed on the glucophage and not given it another thought. It's been 6 months since I started taking it again and nothing is happening. Before it only tolk about 3 months before I felt a difference.
