Actually, as long as you drink a lot of water, your kidneys are fine with
super-low carb.
My body doesn't allow me to eat much in the way of carbs at all. Just a
little carb and I'm of whack. And, my triglicerides, cholesterol, and
cholesterol ratio are all excellent. In fact, they are lower than when I was
eating a low fat diet a few years ago.
Everyone's body is different. You have to listen to your body, experiment, and
see what works for you.
