Sorry, but low-carb bread sounds like an oxymoron. Bread is made of wheat, which is all carbohydrate. Also watch the protein bars. Many have 30+ grams of sugar in them.

For me, sugar-free jello with fresh whipped cream is delish. Or, I'll add splenda and flavor extract to cream and make flavored whipped cream. Atkins has some tasty protein bars. I've found ways to adapt many foods. Crushed pork rinds instead of bread crumbs for chicken nuggets. Ice cream with cream and splenda and flavor (no milk). Heavy cream in my coffee (or iced coffee). There are some things I doubt I will find a way to substitute (at least until new food ingredients or types are developed), such as pasta with marinara or clam sauce, fried seafood, etc. But, there are enough things I can eat, and I know how awful I feel when I do eat carbs, that I do pretty well.

I found that once I got into the routine of low-carb, my cravings are few and far-between. Others have said that Met reduces their cravings (probably due to the negative reinforcement of GI distress when sugar is eaten).

Hang in there. It just takes some time.
