Re: Well, today is the first day of the rest of my life...From: Melanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 24 Sep 2001 04:38:09 -0500 (CDT)
Good for you! There is a really good "cookie" recipy in the Atkins book, i add coconut and ground almond to it, it is completely flur free, and for choc cravings i eat in all amounts of course plaine choclate that is over 70% cocoa solid. i can not eat much of it as it is so rich and it hits the spot. the sugar busters book has a superb choclate mousse, again high cocoa solid content, that is to die for. both books have some great recipies in and are veryt helpfull my diet is a middle ground between tham, and i find it really work.Bread wise i eat whole grain stone ground bread with no added sugar occasionally. Good luck, take great care Mel At Mon, 24 Sep 2001, Aimee wrote: > >to coin an over-quoted cliche. LOL > >I am starting low carb today.
