I am also a teenager diagnosed with pcod. Truthfully, my doctor never recommend that procedure except for the obvious medication routine. Check your testosterone level, I think that may be the reason for the moodiness! Also, my weight escalated as well but as soon as I discovered my ailment, followed a diabetic diet and exercised I was able to lose as much as 65 pounds in one month. NO LIES!! Talk to another doctor!
