Re: Vitex-Chaste Tree BerryFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 17 Sep 2001 13:17:04 -0500 (CDT)
I have just read your information on Vitex, Chaste Tree. I have heard that you are only supposed to take it from ovulation to the last day of your cycle. I have also heard that it only will help women who have a cycle of 28 days or less. My cycles are 31-32 days. I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year. I have taken Vitex now for 20 days and started to take it at the beginning of my cycle. I recently stopped because I started to get night sweats and my temperature has gone up from 97.7 approx. to 98.1. I'm afraid if I keep taking it at the beginning of my cycle that I won't ovulate as normal because my temp. will be too high. Can you please email back with some clarification and how Vitex helps with pregnancy. My bottle says nothing about that. Thank you.
