I meant more natural than other sweeteners (sorry, poor writing-I wasn't clear). Nutrasweet (aspartame) is a protein, but a lot of people seem to react to it. Saccharine is a carcinogen. So, sugar with one molecule different to prevent absorption is much closer to a natural state.
