Hello everyone,

I was told 4 mos ago that i have PCOS. I quickly did a lot of research on this and i went on a low carb diet (Dr. Atkins book) I lost in 1 month 22 pounds. Then i found that Dr Atkins diet was to much for me to bear, so i swicthed to Susanna Somers diet book. Now i find that i am craving more of sweets becasue i am eating more fruit? What is a good diet book to be on for PCOS? I know i am IR. Plus I know that by just changing my diet my life has changed so much! I always knew there was something not right with me. I am 29 years old and have been suffering for the better part of my life and i am sick of it! Since i went on a low carb diet, my periods came by themselves! I was in total shock! I just scheduled an appointment with a PCOS specialist. I want to become pregnant and my husband and I have been trying for so long, but now i know the answers that i have been searching for for so long and it explains so much on why i am the way i am. Another wonderful thing is since i have changed my diet my depression and anixety has lowered. I still have bouts of anixety after my period?? My theroy on that is i am trying to ovulate and my male hormones are in a up roar. So that is when i feel overwhelming anxiety and panic. I am looking forward on going to the doctor.

Thank you for listening, Natasja
