You should be feeling better, not worse, you poor thing. Have you looked at the Schwarzbein Principal or the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Plan (CALP)? CALP is different from the Carbohydrate Addict's Plan (CAP). It's more balanced, and easier to follow.

Try either one of those and see if you don't feel better. You could be having problems with getting your blood sugar adjusted. If you are still pulling insulin out like you were when you were high carbing, you may be getting hypoglycemic episodes now. Hypoglycemia will make you feel shaky, sweaty, hungry, and it can cause emotional responses like bursting into tears.
