Re: Need some suggestions on just how many carbs I can have...and diet suggestions

I have been on a low carb diet (30 grams of carbs a day) since October.
I was told that I would never be able to have kids with out a lot of
medical and drug intervention. I have not taken a single drug. I AM
PREGNANT. My blood tests are now coming back as very close to normal
and the pregnancy is going great. I have stayed on the low carb diet
(with supervision of my acupuncturist and nutritionist) but have
increased them to 40-60 grams of carbs per day. I added a few whol
grains and some fruit to my diet for the extra carbs and it's working
great. Btw, Protien Power is a book for low carb info and "The Low-Carb
Cookbook" by Fran McCollough is GREAT. Lots of good food to keep you
going. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Good luck!
