Hi Sam, thanks for your reply.

I have booked an appointment with my doctor to discuss any hormone-balancing medication i can take, plus hopefully she will refer me to a dietician who can help sort out the right foods for me to eat.

I currently weight 11.5 stone (which i think is about 160lb) and am 5ft 6 also. I have been going to the gym for 3 years and have only lost half a stone (about 7lbs) - im sure it must be something to do with PCOS as i am down the gym nearly every day now and it hasnt made a difference :(

Im guessing my weight should be about 10 stone (140lb) so i havent exactly got a lot to loose. But its soo depressing being overweight when all my friends are slim and hardly have to exercise to keep their figures. ¦:(
