pcos diet that worksFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 16 Jul 2001 23:02:38 -0500 (CDT)
I have had pcos for years have been through surgeries for fertility have gone the metformin route and the spiroaldactone route in addition to clomid etc. I have started this diet after some research on my own was so sick of hearing all my options and none of them working , took metformin for 6 months without much efeffect , last month i decided to start my own healthy diet and basically went back to what you learn in school the five basic food groups with a twist , after 500pm no carbs at all , just meat and vegetables or just vegetables kind of a mix without changing everything changing my lifestyle , basically for people who want it more spelled out very simple , yogurt or cereal for breakfast, a sandwich on high fiber bread for lunch , and vegetables and meat for dinner , exercise low impact aerobics and some strength training three times a week , the result is slow but steady and i am very psyched i have lost 12 pounds in the past four weeks and feel if i can do this every month that is a lot of weight , it is working for me and i figured i would share with the rest , also nothing at all to east after 10pm just water sips not bottles , take care all and good luck any questions about anything or any info needed , feel free to email ,
