Re: Chromium PicolinateFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 16 Jul 2001 22:22:57 EDT
Please be very careful with taking chromium picolinate your blood sugar may plumit and cause seasures if you're not careful--I asked my doc about taking it and he doesn't suggest it for any one with diabetes. I took it anyway I tablet daily and by the middle of the day I would get the shakes because my sugar level was too low. So I stopped. I told my doc about it and he said not to take it any more--next time I may wake up in the hospital. This chromium can cause a lot of damage it is like poison if taken in higher doses. If you are diabetic please reconsider using this especially if you are dieting and working out!!! your sugar level drops when working out and if you are on a low carb. diet already and also taking this it could be very harmful. Please--I am only looking out for your health.
