I have been at a standstill the past week. I went to the OB/Gyn on Friday, and she ordered tests for PCOS. I am frustrated because I was diagnosed back in the 80's, and why pay the money for all of the tests. I am Type II diabeic also. I know I am insulin resistant now thanks to the Atkins program. Is it really necessary to also do the testing. I have had 4 pregnancies and have 3 sons, and am not having any more, so this is not an issue. I am interested in the supplements to see if these help with the plateau in the weight loss. Any suggestions? >
-- Hi ladies. This is my first time on this site. I am encouraged that there are others out there low-carbing with success, although slower than we'd like. I lost 9 pounds over 9 months and then gained back 7 in only 4 weeks time in the process of moving to a new state and all the transitions, eating on the road, etc. Frustration!! My total calories are rarely over 1500-2000 even eating a normal diet with carbs!!!
