If you can tolerate letting it grow in a bit, waxing might be an option. Atleast when you wax, the hair has to regenerate, producing finer, softer, less stubbly hair tips. When you shave, you cut the hair probably at one of the thicker, more course ...spots.

I've heard conflicting reviews on laser. My dermatologist recommended I hang on to my money until they improve it, since it is not as effective for those that do not have dark, dark hair.
