Re: I have always felt like a freak

The hair has been hard for me to deal with over the years. A few years back I would shave my face in the morning, and have a "5:00 shadow" by the time I left work. I started Aldactone, and that slowed things down a bit.

I will say that Vaniqa is amazing stuff. I started in December (after bring the prescribing info from the web site to my GYN and telling him I wanted it). I last waxed my lip at the end of December. I haven't waxed again in 6 months, and just plucked 4 hairs the other day. It has slowed down the beard to where there are days I feel comfortable skipping the shaving. It was covered by my insurance the first two times I had it filled, but they then decided that it was cosmetic and stopped. It's worth it, though.
