You know Brenda, I would write out all of my questions and send them to
my doctor beforehand. That way, if she does not know, and she's a good,
caring doctor, she'll look into it before your appointment! ...and
you'll get all the answers to your questions! Very likely you had to
wait a long time for your diagnosis, so why not save yourself some time!
I met with an endocrinologist once that did not know *a lot* about PCOS;
however, after my appointment with her, I sent her a letter giving her
the url to this site (for other patients) and asking her additional
question. (This is something I have never done before...) She sent me
back a letter with lots of information and an article that she came
across.
