Hi Joan,

I read your post, and it broke my heart! I really feel for you, because like many of others surfing this site, I suffer from some of the same symptoms and experienced a doctor's disregard for my concerns.

But you know what, as difficult as it is....you have to grab that book if you want it! The heck with them.... You have to think about yourself.

I am so glad this web site is here!! It sounds super corny, but I feel like I am home and among friends when I surf this site. I went through years of frustration not understanding what was wrong with my body.... I went for just over a year without a menstrual cycle, and was told it was normal! Do you believe it?! And then, there is the hair! I have the hair "elsewhere" as well. It is disheartening, and sure as heck does not help one's self-esteem.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know, you're not the only one.
