Try measuring your stomach around the belly button. Then you will have objective feedback as to how much you are losing. I gained weight suddenly after going off birth control pills, mostly around my stomach. It was very frustating because my eating and exercise and even stress levels were the same and everyone thought that i had suddenly started eating too much, which i hadn't. I started on an insulin resistance diet, and lost 1 inch in one month around my stomach. But everyone is different. I don't know much about chromium, but i have heard that it helps with insulin resistance, so it would then theoretically help you be skinnier, not fatter. I've heard of people who take two doses of 200mcg per day, but i have no idea what is healthy.
