Hello my name is Brenda. I was recently diagnosed with pcos. What I have found out is that there is no cure at this time and it can cause other health problems. I think you should talk to your doctor about helping you mange a diet. From what I have been reading that seems very important. I was reading e-mails from other people and they said that a high protein and low carb diet is helping them. One of the girls at my work is doing a low carb high protein diet. She said she found it in a book. The Dr. Adrian's Diet or something like that. She said it was on the best sellers list and has been for a while. I plan on getting the book when I get paid. I have not been back to my doctor since I was diagnosed with pcos, I next appointment is in early July and I have millions of questions for her. I hope she can answer them!(she sure did not tell me anything when i was diagnosed!!! i am finding thing out from the pcos website!!! which i would not known about if i would not have picked up a pamphlet with a website address on it!!! http://www.4woman.gov)
