Update on dietingFrom: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 27 Jun 2001 11:38:39 -0500 (CDT)
Well since the alst time I posted a message on the board I have attended the slimming club as i said I would. I attended the first class on 12 June, to my horror i weighed more than i thought at 11st 13lbs. I felt very low but more determined than ever to stick to the diet. As I mentioned in my last posting I am following the Rosemary Conley Diet, the club is good as its not just talk and weighing but also for 50 minutes theres an aerobics class, fat burning and toning. When I attended the class last week for my first weigh in on the diet I was over the moon to find I'd lost 5.5 lbs, i was so elated! and last night when i went to class I've lost another 1.5lbs, so thats half a stone in 2 weeks, I feel really proud of myself. I've also attended an extra 2 classes each week of the aerobics. To tell you all a little about the diet, its based on around 1400 calories a day its low fat (4% or less per item), certain things are weighed like bread, potatoes etc so that makes it ideal for us as the carbos are monitored. I've found it useful planning my meals ahead for the week that way i can get all the right stuff in and work everything out once a week rather than doing it ad-hoc. I'm really positive this time and very determined, if anyone wants more info then you can e-mail me and i'll send you a copy of my diet sheets for th last two weeks, i know how important losing weight is to me and i'd like to help anyone out there I can, we all need to support and encourage each other. Bye for now all, Angie
