The specialist who told you you'd feel 100% better after the hysterectomy is an idiot. Pardon me, but that's just ridiculous.

A hysterectomy does not "cure" PCOS and it does not correct the problems of insulin resistance, hyperinsulemia, high blood lipids, obestiy, or a host of other related issue. If your doctor is going to remove your ovaries, you will be on hormone replacement therapy for the rest of your life, which itself is not the healtiest for you.
