My mother who also suffers from PCOS has had a hysterectomy and said that she feels better for it - no more nightmare periods - but of course still struggles with weight problems. I am not too keen on the idea as I feel I am too young and also I have not had any children or for that matter tried to have any children. Sometimes my menstrual problems are so bad I just cry.
