Thanks for your help. Not sure if blood clots are related to PCOS - but they are definetly related to being over weight. I have forwarded your info to my doctor in hope that he can find such stuff. I am having nightmares trying to do something about this whole thing. My doctor says metformin and clomid are only for people trying to get pregnant - which I am not. I cannot use any hormone replacement therapy due to the clots.

Another source has recommended a hysterectomy which is quite a drastic thought - especially as I think I am too young and may still want to try for children at a later stage of my life. I am still waiting to see what my doctor has to say about that.

I am really scared about the whole thing - and the support from you and others like you has been a god send.
