The low carb thing as I experience it really should only have to do with bread, cereal and pasta carbs...You can cut romaine lettuce or any veges like that up with avocado and sunflower seeds and I even use croutons (a little only) and real ranch dressing...it is possible to use vege carbs freely because they are full of fiber and good things for the body in the way they metabolize...much better than the flour thing. Soy spicy hot dogs have nineteen grams of protein in one serving!!! hot mustard is good with these. I even eat Tofutti chocolate dessert occasionally...also soy with sugar...but I have just lost fifteen pounds eating like this and walking 3 to 5 times a week for two miles about 45 minutes round trip. I also eat a sesame fruit and nut bar with 5 grams of fiber for a full meal...alot of fat I guess and some fruit sugar but IT IS WORKING...relaxing and listening to the body for being full signals stops me from continuing to eat...a sloooow process...but it is working...no meds. It takes awhile to implement...but once in awhile you get to have a goody...no deprivation...I think that is why we are all in such trouble in the first place...on and off eating. I hope my Non-diet is going to work for the long haul...I will write again later if I succeed with the whole regime...

remember nuts and oh, like refried beans with no fat and jalepenos with a hot salsa is a real full meal too...with the soy you got your proteins...
