After 20 years of vegetarian eating for both ethical and health reasons, after getting diagnosed, I have just started eating fish and chicken (organic) again. My body has adjusted immediately to the addition and I find I actually crave protein now and feel a sense of relief when eating it. I"m not happy to have had to change this lifestyle but I think I'll be healthier because of it. good luck, you're not alone.
