Hello... Has anybody tried fructose? It's pretty low on the glycemic index (22), and my doctor said it would be a good substitution for sugar if I didn't like the chemical taste of Splenda. I've been trying to do low carb/glycemic index, and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not my doctor is right about fructose. It's really good and I'm having a dreadful time getting off breads, sweets, so I'd be thrilled if fructose was an acceptable substitute! Thanks, Leigh
