Hi Krissie, I have PCOS with the opposite symtoms - My periods last around 6 weeks, I bleed through whilst taking the pill! My consultant is useless, he won't help at all with my weight even though I exercise and eat realy heathily, I am still 2 stone overweight. I asked about Glucophage after reading about it for controlling weight in PCOS patients. Does is help with weight? My consultant completely dismissed it saying I was not obese and should excercise more.... Can anyone help or know of any other treatments available?
