Welcome to the boat... there are alot of us in the same one.

Diet is easy, lo-carb. Or just give up potatoes, pasta and bread, eat brown rice instead of white, have a salad a day, Drink lots and lots of water, and exercise... park in the back of the parking lots, get up to change the TV channels, or just take a walk, rollerblading is fun too!! I have done this and I am losing slowly, but to see a pound gone is amazing to me. I havent lost weight in 10 years.

Metformin wont do it for you, it is a tool to help you help yourself.

I am not a doctor, so talk to yours about any diet/exercise regimin.
