Hi Jessica. I totally understand how upsetting rapid weight gain can be (and I think a few others out there can agree). Unfortunately, I have to say that diet is key. Low carb is not just a fad diet b/c for you, it is a way to help control your insulin levels which plays a major role on weight. I have tried everything.. and low carb/no sugar is working! I am starting to see the yukky, uncomfortable weight come off (slowly, but it's going), as well my energy level has been slowly increasing. Personally, I found the book Sugar Busters to be a real guidance. You have to do it for you though. Outside pressures will always be there, but just remember how you feel right now, and I can almost promise... you will not stray. Chin up ok. There is no magic pill, just pure heart & soul. You can do it! you just need to believe in yourself.... Good luck
