Leslie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post. I went out for dinner the other night with my friends and told them but unfortunately i couldn't explain it because I myself don't quite understand. I guess it's the whole "there's not one thing" or it's not actually physical.. I don't know. Brain tumours were easier to explain!!

I am unsure about the IR test. He took a gallon of blood though.. not to mention the 44 gallon drum of pee i had to fill up over 24 hours (cortisone levels???)

I think carbs may be a big problem of mine. I do not feel fulfilled unless i have some staple in each meal. Be it pasta, potato, rice or bread I might just be addicted!! The other foods just don't seem to fill me up as much. Unfortunately due to my IBS increasing fibre is not an option for me.and thus the drugs you discussed (i.e diabetic ones) with bad gastro side effects would be a def. no no. does having high IR results mean diabetes? he did rule diabetes out - I have low cholesterol and tryglicerides so they are not a problem.

Once again, thank you very much for taking your time to reply to my post. I appreciate it.

regards kiwi
