A reproductive endocrinologist is probably a good first step. Chances are good that they will *highly recommend* that you take drugs, which can be beneficial if you need it, even with some of the side effects. You will probably be given a battery of lab tests to be done. Make sure you talk them into an insulin test, if you haven't had one yet (this is not the same as a fasting blood sugar/glucose test). Depending on your situation, you may also have a full physical workup. Chances are fairly good that a reproductive endo will have a clue as to what the latest developments for PCOS are. I'm fortunate in that mine is good about working with natural remedies too. :)
