If you have a local co-op or health food store you can find whole grains there. Co-ops usually have them in bulk. Barley, BROWN rice (not white), wheat berries, irish oats (steel cut oats) are some examples. A good wehsite for whole grains is http://www.drmirkin.com. You can get an online newsletter, recipes, nutrition info and diebetes (IR too) there as well. If it's been processed, ie pasta, cereal, bread, etc it is not WHOLE grain. Dawn
