Shannon, My name is Kim and I am 27. I have had the same problem as you.
I went to see an endocrinologist and I told him I wanted to become pregnant.
He put me on glucophage 1500mg a day I just started it at the end of
February I have noticed a big change as far as the facial hair goes and for
my periods, I always have had regular periods, but I guess you can still
have PCOS even with reg periods. So I am just waiting to see what happens.
I guess you can also lose weight with the glucophage more easily if you
exercise regularly and eat right that is what I have been doing and so far
I've lost some weight I can tell by the way my pants are getting baggy. If
you have any more questions you can e-mail me at kimmyg73@hotmail.com I
would be glad to answer them for you. Good luck.
