Just hang in there. After about 4 days you will actually NOT crave the carbs. To help this along take the L-Glutamine (I take L-Glutamine with PAK *Pyridoxine Alpha Ketoglutarate* from Perque 800-525-7372), it really does help. Don't get discouraged or give in to the demand of your body for sugar, or you'll only prolong the process. I know it can be tough, just be determined. You can modify Atkins to no more than 40g of carbs a day (7-10g per meal, 5g per morning/afternoon snack), still not alot, but you can eat the hotdog at night if it comes to that.

You DO need a good multi-vitamin, I have one recommended by a Homeopath I was seeing while "faithfully" doing Atkins. If you want to know what it is, let me know. Not extremely expensive if you stretch them over two months (which is easy to do).
