LONG" If any of you have already done are are in the HMR liquid diet, or Optufast, you probably already know what I am talking about. Please, if anyone has suggestions to social issues dealing w/food, please let me know. My family is trying to be supportive of my endeavors, but I don't really think they understand how I am struggling @ the beginning of this journey. I know it will get easier, but I just began taking glucophage and doing the HMR liquid diet, and my family always focuses holidays and special event around food. St. Patrick's Day is coming up. My Grandpa is 100% Irish. Corned Beef and Cabbage and Green Beer...one of my favorite holidays and rituals. My family is insisting I go w/them to the restaurant and I really don't want to torture and tempt myself, but they refuse to take no for an answer and I don't want to seem like a B!^*#.
