New to PCOS

I was diagnosed in PCOS in 1991 but I was led to believe that after a year of treatment I would be okay again. I had then gained 80 pounds in 3 months. After 2 miscarriages I have been re-tested and it has been confirmed that I do have PCOS. I don't have a clue now, should I be taking medication, what can I do about the weight loss. I work out 5 days a week, are their any diets that would help me out, what should I be asking and should I be on medication if I'm trying to conceive. Would appreciate any answers.
