Kathy, You were asking about mood swings related to PCOS. For myself, I noticed a direct connection between the amount of carbs ingested and my moods. If I ate things that were high in sugar, I would be great for a while, then a couple of hours later (blood-sugar crash) I would be in tears over anything, or a in a rage over any idiotic thing. Brain connections were snaffooed! When I began eating less white carbie things and more protein and whole grain foods, I have noticed a dramatic difference in my mental stability. So long as I don't skip meals, I tend to remain a fairly balanced person.
