I have been doing the low carb thing for about 3 weeks..keeping under about 50g per day and my ketostix show a color change daily. The first week I lost a quick 5lbs, but since then I have lost only 1 pound. I am following the CAD diet, with basically only salad carbs until dinnertime, then a little more generous carbs, like 1/2cup of noodles, potatoes etc. Am I being unrealistic expecting more results? Could my time of the month have a real impact on my weight loss? I am right around mid cycle and I am hoping that is why this has stalled ALREADY. I have done well drinking water and have not gotten carried away with calories....I just had such high hopes for this?? Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
