Herbal treatments? I have recently been diagnosed with PCO, after suffering with the symptoms for over 3 years, I am tired of trying the Progesterone / Birth Control Pill trick to induce and regulate my periods. I hate the way I feel on the meds ( depressed, bloated, excessively heavy periods, etc.) What, if any, herbal / natural treatments has anyone tried and do they work? I have seen one article on Saw Palmetto, which is supposed to block high androgen levels, but am reluctant to try anything, for fear of aggravating things. Any advice would be appreciated.
