I am following the "Sugar Busters Diet" using both Low fat and Low carbs. I count the grams of fat and use a glycemic index for the carbs. there are a lot of low fat meats you can eat like lean beef or turkey, chicken. Watch your portions and Fat grams in meat if you have a cholesterol problem. (which is why alot of people cant have eggs). There are some diets that are stricktly low carbs...but I found them to be too restrictive and cant stick to them such as Atkins diet although the atkins diet seems to do wonders for some women with PCOS. It's a personal choice of which diet you want to try..I myself have done everything from weight watchers to Jenny creig and the only thing that seems to work for me is watching both fat and carbs with small portions. If your really confused maybe your doctor knows a good Nutritionist that he can refer you to. Hopefully one who is familiar with PCOS. Hope I helped a bit. Dona >
