Hi Leslie..thanks for getting back to me. :) I agree, I thought the dosage may have been too high so I cut it back. When I was diagnosed at 17 (I'm now 27) I didn't know anything about pcos and I was pretty much told to come back when I wanted to have a baby. That was all..it's only been recently since I found this site and the regular pcos forum that I've discovered I was even supposed to be on a lower carb diet. I had see a dietician and she said there was nothing wrong with my diet, just to cut back on the sugar a bit. Recently, my husband and I started ttc and that's why I had started the Chaste Tree Berry in November. On Wednesday of last week, the doctor put me on provera to make me have period (hadn't had one since August) so I decided that I should probably stop taking the Vitex. I wasn't sure what it would do if anything. I had a glucose tolerance test done yesterday ( I had not even been tested for insulin resistance since diagnosis 10 years ago) and I go back to see the obgyn on April 11. At that point, she said she's probably going to put me on clomid. I appreciate you getting back to me about the vitex. I had a really hard time finding anyone who had taken it. Thanks again. :)
