vegan and low carb diet

Having been prescribed PCOS in October 2000 I took my doctor's advice and started taking the drug dianette. However recent concerns have made me stop taking the pill and search for homeopathic and natural therapy's.

I don't have a weight problem (I'm a US 4) but a low carb, high protein and fibre vegan diet has been reccomended to me. Due to my insulin level's I need to also keep yeast and sugar to a minimum. Has anyone else been advised of this diet?

Does acupuncture or Shiatsu work on PCOS?

Please e-mail me at Petacutchey@hotmail.com.

Thanks
