As I have never heard of anyone with this disease, losing as much as that. I had literally given up hope. I have tried to battle this condition aswell as my thyroid condition for many years with very little success, and was wondering if you could also e-mail this diet, as I have just started metformin and am not sure where to go from here. I have been trying to detox my body for a couple of days at a time once a month ie no tea, diary products, mainly on fruits and taking few drops of milk thistle (this helps to detox the liver of toxin build up) and dry brushing my skin this helps to aid the weight loss and my self esteem. As well as fasting now and then (this gives my body a rest) This is a method I have been practising for a year. Another tip for detoxification is following Corle Vordermans video, recently out, its definetly not a programme for life, but aids detoxification of the liver now and again. I would be grateful for any responses on PCOS and weightloss and if possible a email of the low fat diet for women with PCOS. My e-mail is Thank you for giving me hope again!
