Hi there. I am new to this board. I have been trying to diet using the Atkins diet but have found it difficult to follow. It makes my hypoglycemia act up and I am hungry all the time. I only managed to follow it for 12 days and lost only 5 pounds of what I assume was probably water weight. Has anyone tried to lose weight simply by eating low GI carbs (rather than counting all carbohydrate grams)? Were you successful? How did you monitor the amounts of carbs you were eating?
