Hi HF,

1g is probably not enough. Ideally, you need to take the equivalent of 1 Tbsp for every 100lbs of body weight. If you are taking 1g capsules, then you would need to take 6 a day for every 100lbs you weigh. I find it easier to take 6 capsules a day, and then use the liquid form for the remainder to make a salad dressing. It is light in flavor, so you could experiment with different herbs or lemon juice to see what works for you. Don't cook with this though, as Flax oil breaks down when heated (use olive oil or sunflower seed oil as these are also good for helping with cholesterol levels).
